Be a part of the community by simply signing up on this website to learn about events and receive notifications.  You do not need to volunteer, but we want to share more about PTA events and activities the PTA sponsors.  Membership is not required to participate in PTA hosted events.

PTA Q&A

 

  • Q: I don’t have time to volunteer, should I still join PTA?   A: Yes! If you want to volunteer that’s great, but volunteering is not required or expected. We would love your support as a member!

 

  • Q: Isn’t PTA only for moms?   A: No! PTA membership is open to anyone who supports our school, including parents, grandparents, teachers, school staff, students, and any community member.

 

  • Q: Do I have to come to meetings?   A: No! Meeting attendance is not expected or required. If you would like to join us, all members and non-members are welcome at our membership meetings.

 

 

What does membership cost?

 

This year we are charging $20 for each membership. But most of this money does not go to our PTA...

  • $13 will cover annual state and local PTA required fees for each member.
  • $7 will support CCE PTA events and administrative costs

We understand that parents are busy! If membership is not for you, please consider a donation!  We need about $40 per student to ensure that programs are well funded and the PTA can continue to operate in the next year.

The PTA runs 100% on the donations given by the community!

Your donation is tax deductible. 

 

Donations help cover:

  • Costs of renting space and buying supplies for activities like the Glow Dance
  • Staff Appreciation
  • Popcorn for Popcorn Fridays
  • Supplies for the Art Docent program
  • And much more!

 

Our goal is to raise $30,000 to cover our budgeted expenses for the 2025-26 school year.  We can't do it without your help!

 

And don't forget to double your impact - many companies in this area will match your donation to our non-profit PTA!!
